She was born Feb. 6, 1878, at Humphreys, Mo., daughter of John and Margaret Hurst Constant. She lived in Humphreys until 1916 and attended school there. She lived in Galt seven years, at Laredo three years and for the last 23 years had been in Chillicothe. She taught school in Sullivan and Grundy counties for several years. She was a member of the Christian church at Humphreys. On Sept. 5, 1902, she was married to Dale Osborn. Mr. Osborn died Jan. 17, 1940. The Osborns made their home at 721 Elm street.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Reeva McKown of Tina, Mo., and Mrs. Ramah Williams of Dallas, Tex.; a son, John R. Osborn of St Joseph, Mo.; a brother, Harvey I. Constant of Grass Valley, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Octavia Brassfield of Topeka, Kan., Mrs. Rena Carter of Browning, Mrs. Celia Sharp of Humphreys, Mrs. Ruth Morrow of Humphreys and Norma Mudd of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at the Christian church at Humphreys at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon conducted by Rev. O. O. Hunsaker of Galt. Burial will be in the family lot of the Humphreys cemetery under direction of the Norman Funeral Home." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, June 18, 1958
