Ms. Madge "KriKet" Laney (Ernandez) Phillips, age 53, a resident of Little River, Alabama died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at her residence. Ms. Phillips was a homemaker.
She is survived by: Her husband of 25 years: Randy Phillips, SR, Little River, AL Her son: Wayne Davis (Peggy), Daphne, AL Her stepson: Randy Phillips, Jr. (Tucker), Stockton, AL Her brothers: Hurley Ernandez (Leslie), Meraux, LA Robert Ernandez (Kim), Malbis, AL She was preceded in death by: Her parents: Hurley and Roslie Mason Ernandez Her sister: Genivive "Freddie" Johnson
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Mamie's Chapel in Little River with the Reverend Steve Shelley officiating. Burial will follow at the Mamie's Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Norris Funeral Home, Friday, October 10 , 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of Baldwin County, 19059 Greeno Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532.
The pallbearers are Randy Phillips, Jr., Oppie Bryant, Billy Williamson, John Steadham, Ben Noble and Mike Bryars.
