Charles Howard Kendall was the beloved son of Castner Sanderson & Martha "Mattie" Jane Wales. Charles married Viola C. (Flock) Kendall. To this Union three daughters were born, Betty ( Schwalenberg) Kendall, Edna M. ( Kendall) Robinette & Jane (Kendall) Klotz. On January 18, 1838, Viola passed away at the age of 35 from Phlebitis. Charles later married widow Mary Catherine (Smith) Jenkins. Mary's late husband was Thomas Daniel Jenkins & to this union Thomas & Mary had two daughters, Evelyn Ann (Jenkins) Kurt & Eleanor Katherine (Jenkins) Rosenberger Jimenez'. Thomas was born in Baltimore on June 13, 1904 & died on December 1, 1933, in Baltimore. Thomas was killed when he was playing semi pro football. He broke his neck & was wearing a leather helmet . The Kendall & Jenkins couple had know each other for several years. On June 27, 1940, Charles & Mary married. Charles & Mary never had any children together. Charles worked for Lambert Hudnut in Baltimore & retired in 1961. Pops as all his grandchildren affectional called him passed away at the Whispering Pines Nursing Home In Baltimore at the age of 83. He leaves behind a loving grandson, Thomas Charles Rosenberger of Petrolia, Texas, to cherish his sweet memory. Thomas Charles was named for both of his grandfathers, Thomas Jenkins & Charles Kendall. His other grandchildren along with all of his other family members, miss him as well! Pops was a kind, gentle & loving man & always had a beautiful smile for everyone on lifes road!
