ADA β Services for Emily Jewel Howard, 81, Ada, are 1 p.m. Thursday at the Pennington United Methodist Church in Reagan, the Revs. Jerry Imotichey and Rufus Eyachabe will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Family and friends may call at the church from 4 p.m. Wednesday until service time.Mrs. Howard died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at her home. She was born April 11, 1927, at Mill Creek to Loshman and Phoebe Keel Columbus.She attended Carter Seminary School in Ardmore. She moved to Ada about 1985 from Los Angeles, Calif.She married Raymond Vincent Howard. He died March 28, 1996, at Okmulgee.Mrs. Howard was a homemaker and a nurse's aide in California.
