Albert Newton was the son of William M. "Billie" and Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" (Embrey) Bingham. On 24 May 1903, he married Maggie Elizabeth Land, daughter of Joseph Abe and Mary Ann (Welch) Land. Albert Newton and Maggie Elizabeth were the parents of ten children. He was a farmer and a stockman.
