Kimberly Marie McCoy , 17, of the 1200 block of Regent University Drive, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2000. She was a member of New Willow Grove Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
Kimberly was a resident of Holiday House in Portsmouth, ``A Special Place for Special Children.'' She was a Girl Scout for eight years.
She was predeceased by her mother, Antoinette McCoy and her grandfather, Rodger McCoy . Survivors include her grandmother and guardian, Dorothy B. McCoy of Virginia Beach; grandparents, Earl and Ruby Chapman of Norfolk; her father, David M. McCoy of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Natasha J. McCoy of Norfolk and Davisa N. McCoy of Virginia Beach; a brother, Earl Chapman of North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at New Willow Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
