He married Lucille Pendergrass, a daughter of John Allison Pendergrass and Nancy Surrelda Bowers Pendergrass.

SCOTTSBORO - A funeral for Obe Collins, 74, of Larkinsville, who died Saturday in a truck-train collision in the Lim Rock community, was to be today at 1 p.m. at Word-Bolton Chapel with the Rev. Ed Gardner officiating.

Burial was to be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dale Lawler of Muscle Shoals, Mrs. William P. Loyd of Huntsville, and Mrs. W. E. Banks Jr., of Wortsmuth Air Force Base, Mich.; two sons, Willard Collins of Guntersville, and James Collins of Athens; two sisters, Mrs. P. C. Bower and Mrs. Lester Pendergrass, both of Cleveland, Tenn., two brothers, Ray Collins of Birchwood, Tenn., and Shurd Collins of Cleveland, Tenn.; and : 12 grandchildren.
