Mack E. Glotfelty, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Glotfelty, died Sunday evening, Feb. 19, at the family home, 508 High Street, Meyersdale. Although sick the greater part of his life, the parents put up a fight to save their child, doctoring with a specialist the last few years, at Cumberland, Md., who had the child on the road to recovery, but the children that were going to school contracted scarlet fever and Mack took it and pneumonia followed, and the three diseases were too much for him. He was aged 4 years, 7 months and 13 days. He is survived by two sisters, and two brothers and the parents. Funeral services were conducted at the home on Monday, Feb. 20, by Rev. J. L. Frantz, Lutheran Pastor of Meyersdale. Funeral Director W. C. Price had charge of the funeral; interment in Union Cemetery.
