Walter A. Forsberg, 82, formerly of 22541 Adams, died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday in Healthwin Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was retired from the Studebaker Corp. in 1965 after 40 years employment. Born on June 7, 1899, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life. On Oct. 3, 1925, in South Bend, he married Margaret A. DeLong. She died in 1965. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Geyer of South Bend; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Edward of Austin, Tex.
He was a member of the church, the Gideon Bible Society, and had served as a chaplain at Healthwin Hospital for 18 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the Broadcast Fund of the church.
