Max Lee Baine, 76, of Ash Flat, died Monday night at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
She was born in Paragould, January 29, 1932, and was a retired custodian for Arkansas State University. Mrs. Baine was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Baine; her parents, Mack and Jocie Doughty; and by four sisters, Orene Shewmaker, Maudie Shaeffer, Jestene Crockett and Dortha Lenderman.
She is survived by one brother, Jesse Doughty of Paragould; two sisters, Linda Brumley of Thayer, Missouri, Jocie Thomason of Ash Flat; and by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-9:00 pm, Wednesday, at Mitchell Funeral Home, Paragould.
Funeral service will be at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel, on Thursday, October 9th, at 10:30 am, with L. R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Croft Cemetery.
Gregg Brumley, Heath Brumley, Wess Gill, Jeff Gill, Mark Morrow and Keith Morrow will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Lenderman, Jerry Morrow, Wess Gill, Jr. and Homer Lenderman, Jr.
