Raymond W. H. Michel 66, who had served as janitor in the public schools here for 30 years died late Thursday Morning October 10, 1974, In Margaret Mary Community Hospital.Batesville.
Mr Michel was Born Feb 17, 1908 at Lookout, a son of Fred and Anna (Ahrens) Michel. both are deceased. He was married to Josephine Webster at Brazil, INdiana On June 24, 1945. She preceeded him in Death on Feb 13, 1963.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs Jim (Sally) Widener together with two grandchildren Miss Rosemary Dawn Widener, and Jimmy Lee Widener, all of Batesville. Also Surviving is a Sister Mrs Rhoda Luers, Batesville. A Brother Edward Preceeded him in Death.
Funeral Services were conducted Sunday Afternoon at Adams Church of which the deceased was a member, conducted by the Rev Wilford C Butt Pastor. Interment was in the church cemetery in charge of Meyers Funeral Home.
Casket Bearers were Arthur Marticke,Eugene Schrader, Richard Lemen,Merle Larabee,Robert Flodder, and Walter Maple Jr.
