RALPH E. CARROLL DIES SUDDENLY AT HIS HOME HERE
Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Snow Funeral Home for Ralph Elmer Carroll, 57, who died suddenly at 10:30 o'clock Saturday night at his home, 202 North Morley street. The Rev. R. C. Libbart, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiated, and burial was in the Higbee cemetery.
Mr. Carroll was born near Clark and lived in Randolph County his entire life. He lived at Higbee about 20 years before moving to Moberly in 1944. He was employed by the Wabash Railroad for several years on the bridge gang, and was a veteran of World War One.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Herschel Myers of the home; two sons, Roy and Virgil Carroll of Moberly; a granddaughter; three brothers, John Carroll of Higbee, Robert Carroll of Middle Grove, and Fred Carroll of Independence; and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Scott, near Moberly, and Mrs. Ben Dilts, Higbee.
