Jodie was born on April 21, 1950 to Dan and Catherine (Jones) Shaw.
She graduated from Sherman High School in 1968 and attended Grayson County College. Jodie worked as secretary to the City Manager in Sherman for several years and later worked as the manager of the Coastal Marts Convience Stores in Sherman.
Jodie married Clifford Eric Albin III on August 9, 1989 in Nocona, Tx.
She was a devout Christian.
