CHARLES "LIP" MECK, 94, of White House Beach near Millsboro, formerly of Elsmere, died Friday of cancer in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Elsmere.
Mr. Meck, a retired cabinet maker for 25 years at American Car & Foundry Co., Wilmington, retired in 1962.
He is survived by a niece, Mildred M. Maskewich, with whom he had lived; and a sister, Anna Ehlers of Millsboro.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Riverview Cemetery, 33rd and Market streets, Wilmington. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Longneck United Methodist Church, Millsboro.
