OAKLAND, Calif. - Services for Roma Howie, 19, of 952 72nd Ave., formerly of Wilmington, Del., will be this afternoon at 1 in St. Paul's UAME Church, 408 E. 11th St., Wilmington, where friends may call two hours earlier.

She was killed early Sunday morning when her car hit another on U.S. 13 north of U.S. 40 near Bear, Del.

At the time of her death, Miss Howie was an airman stationed with the 436th Aerial Port Squadron at the Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Del. She had been at the base for the last 3 1/2 months. She attended Northeast Elementary School in Wilmington and was a graduate of Skyline High School in Oakland. She won a trophy for basketball while at Skyline.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Rose and Preston Johnson, with whom she had lived; her father, Veorle Odell Howie of Wilmington; a brother, Kenneth Howie of Wilmington; four sisters, Renee Laverne Howie, Verona Howie, Kim Johnson and Jolanda Johnson, all of Oakland; her maternal grandfather, Alfred Williams Sr., her paternal step-grandmother, Rosa Johnson, and her maternal great-grandmother, Lula Williams, all of Wilmington.

Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Wilmington.
