Russell T. David, 65, died in The Memorial Hospital yesterday afternoon after a short illness. Mr. David, a steamfitter, retired from the Benjamin Shaw Company in October. He is a native Delawarean.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Edith M. Griffith, 504 Langham Road, High Point, with whom he made his home, and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. David was a member of Oriental Lodge 27, AF & AM, Delta Chapter No. 6 RAM, St. John's Commandery No. 1, K. of T., the Delaware Consistory, Nur Temple, Nur Temple Legion of Honor, the Shrine Club of Delaware, the Bedford Club and the Pugh-Lenderman Chalfonte Post 2907, VFW.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington Street, with interment in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday after 7 p.m.
