OBITUARY:
DEATH OF MOSES FIKE
Aged Man Passes Away at Home of His Son South of Town.
Moses Fike, age 75, died yesterday evening at 5 o'clock at the home of his son, A. M. Fike, six miles south of Carthage. Mr. Fike has not been in good health for some time, but had not been bedfast. Heart trouble was the cause of his death.
Mr. Fike was a native of Pennsylvania, and later lived in Iowa and Kansas, moving to Jasper county in 1904. He is survived by eight children, but A. M. Fike is the only relative living in this neighborhood. Several from a distance will probably be here for the funeral, which will be held at the home and interment made to Park cemetery.
