Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riggin-Pillatsch Funeral Home in Carterville for Georgia Mae Brown, 80, of Cambria, who died Monday, Oct. 11, 1982, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Cambria United Methodist Church.
She was born July 16, 1902, in Marion, to George and Ida Mae Snyder Allsup. She was married Sept. 26, 1919, in Williamson County, to Hobart Brown.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Wanda Storme of Carterville; two sons, Hobart Brown Jr. of Cambria and Argel Brown of New York; one sister, Bonnie Coet of Zeigler; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by on child and one sister, Pauline.
