The sweet spirit of little Iris Bowman the four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D.C. Bowman took its flight to the spirit realm Friday morning after a brave fight with the enemy. The little girl was apparently recovering from an attack of infantile paralysis when pneumonia developed and her condition grew rapidly worse until the end came.

The funeral was conducted from the home at 2pm Sunday afternoon by Dr. H.K. Boyer and remains laid to rest in Oakdale cemetery.

A touching feature of the service was the singing of "Bring Them In" by members of the primary department of the Methodist Sunday School. The song was the little girl's favorite song and one she never tired of singing. The flower bearers were the little girl's Sunday school classmates.
