Nora was a member of the Christian Church and a former member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Nora was the daughter of Abraham & Margaret (Shaffer) Archer. She was born April 29, 1873, at Russell Point, Lakeview, Logan County, Ohio, She had eight brothers and sisters.
Nora Dell Archer was married in 1891, in Ohio, to Amos O. Cherry, who passed away in 1912 at age 41. They had two children, Martha and Homer. Nora Dell (Archer) Cherry was later married to Wm. Wesley Barr, in Kansas, in 1913 and he passed away in 1946 at age 92.
Funeral services for Nora Dell Barr were conducted at Graves Memorial Chapel, on Tuesday, January 25, 1966, by Rev. Robert F. Todd, Pastor First Christian Church, Caney, Kansas. Burial was in Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney, Kansas.
Nora was laid to rest along side her first husband and father of her children, Amos Oria Cherry.
