Mrs. Arvie Martin Hale, 89, of 214 Edison Street, McMinnville, died October 18 at Parkview Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.
She was born in White County, Tennessee on October 13, 1901 to Frank Shuster and Lula Baker Shuster.
Mrs. Hale was a member of the Church of Christ.
Services were October 20 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Clayton Gribbs and Bro. David Costello officiating. Burial was in Skurlock Cemetery in White County.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Roy Lee Martin and Clifton Hale.
Survivors include one son, W. A. (Pepper) Martin of Decherd; one daughter, Belva Davenport of McMinnville; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
