Father of Joe Carlton "Buddy" and Judith Ann Williams.
The "crinkles" around my grandfather's eyes were because he smiled so much. I can't remember him without that smile.
He doted on his daughter, was incredibly proud of his son, treated his wife like a queen, and was mildly indulgent of all six of his granddaughters. At every visit to us when we were kids, he gave us shiny new quarters so we would have "mad" money when we went to the store.
Papa died suddenly one night from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. He is still missed by his granddaughters, and will always be remembered with love.
