STONECIPHER, CARRIE TOMPKINS died 23 Mar 1974 Comment
Carrie Tompkins Stonecipher, 73, of Rt. 1, Robbins, passed away in the Scott County Hospital Saturday, after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Ellsworth Tompkins and the late Ina George Tompkins, a member of the Mtn. View Baptist Church. Survivors, three daughters, Mrs. Carl B. (Mildred) Jeffers and Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Finney both of Robbins, Mrs. John (Marjorie) Scates of Helenwood, five brothers, Clarence Tompkins of Elgin, Elmer Tompkins of Hollywood, Fla., George Tompkins of Helenwood, Cordell Tompkins, Ray Tompkins both of Elgin; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the Mtn. View Baptist Church 1 p.m. Monday with Rev. Hayes Bass officiating. Burial in the Burrville Cemetery. West Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
