Mrs. James Rice
SALINEVILLE – Mrs. Amy E. Rice 85 , of RD 1 died at 7 .m. this morning at the Riverside Nursing Home, Wellsville, where she had been a patient for three years.
Born Nov 6, 1887, in Madison Township, a daughter of James and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Todd Mick, she was a lifetime resident of the area and a member of the Bethel United Presbyterian Church and the Missionary Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Homer (Vivian) Stewart and Mrs. Donald (Helen) Lucas, both of Salineville; a son Karle of Avon; a brother Ernest Mick of Dover; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great -grandchildren. Her husband James Rice, died May 6, 1954
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church with the Rev. William Harper, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Kerr Funeral Home Saturday.
