Southaven - DONNIE RAY MONTGOMERY, 80, retired mechanic for Leman Roberts, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at his home. Mr. Montgomery was born October 3, 1928 in Amory, MS to the late Daniel Richard Montgomery and Rosa Belle Pullman Montgomery. He was an Army Air Force veteran and a member of Elliston Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7 from 1-2 p.m. with the service beginning at 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Burial will be in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens. He is survived by three daughters, Donna Swatek and her husband, Mike of Horn Lake, MS, Kathy Todd and her husband, Greg of Memphis, TN, and Beth Ruby and her husband, Byron of Como, MS; one brother, Fred Montgomery of Yazoo City, MS; seven sisters, Ester Holcombe of Holly Pond, AL, Hazel Evans of Babson Park, FL, Richie Cicirelli of Cocoa Beach, FL, Bennie Pennington of Amory, MS, Tula Hollingsworth of Amory, MS, Pernie Hester of Germantown, TN, and Alice Best of Smithville, MS; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Montgomery; his parents; one brother, Willie Montgomery; and one sister, Jessie West.
