Mrs. Dorothy Mae Manning, 71, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Mrs. Manning was born in Sumner County Tennessee on March 2, 1943 to the late Arnett Ray Story and Cora Mae Bell Kemp Story. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Manning was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Parker; and by four brothers, Hugh Story, Junior Story, Kenneth Story and Hoyt Story.
Mrs. Manning is survived by her husband, Paul Manning of Murray, Kentucky; three daughters, Lori Williams and husband Mark of Murray, Kentucky, Vickie Clendenen and husband Jeff of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Tammy Tabers of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Randy Manning and wife Kathy of Murray, Kentucky; three sisters, Ruby Williams of Murray, Kentucky, Ruth Beach of Murray, Kentucky and Betty June Sykes of Dothan, Alabama; and one brother, Ira Lee Story of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
