MERKEL June 29—Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda Arilla Blair, 81, who died Wednesday in the Sadler Clinic here, are set for 3 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at the Merkel Methodist Church and burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Starbuck Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Mrs. Blair operated the Blair Hotel here for 15 years. She was born in Alabama and moved with her husband, the late J.S. Blair, to Newby in 1907. They came to Merkel in 1914. Survivors are three sons. Grover of

(unreadable and then another son name unreadable) of Lubbock and Tom Blair of Fort Worth; one stepson, W.L. Blair of Merkel: three daughters, Mrs. Fanny Riney and Mrs. Dewey Hutchens of Merkel, and Mrs. Dixie Parker of Odessa.
