Mrs. Florence Teel Haltom, 85, of 292 Post Avenue, died early Thursday at her home. She had lived in San Antonio all of her life and was a member of the Central Christian Church, Daughters of the Confederacy, American War Mother's, Daughter of the Texas Republic, Daughter of the American Revolution and past president of the auxiliary of Alamo Post, American Legion. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Drake of Windsor, Canada and Mrs. Josephine Henning of San Antonio; sons, Charles T. of San Antonio, Bryon of Palestine, and a brother, Fred Teel of Corpus Christi.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. from the Porter Loring Chapel Friday with Dr. Floyd Allen Bash officiating. Internment will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The San Antonio Light Thursday March 23, 1944.
