Mrs. Myra D. Kennedy, 81, died at her home on South Main Street, Wednesday afternoon, December 29. She was the former Miss Myra Dorrance, a native of Minnesota, but had made her home in Farmville with her daughters for the past twenty years. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of the Farmville Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Miss Margaret Kennedy and Miss Agnes Kennedy, of Farmville.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o-clock, Friday afternoon, December 31, at the Doyne Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. James V. DeFoe, pastor of the Farmville Baptist Church. Interment in the Farmville cemetery.
Members of the board of deacons of the Farmville Baptist Church, of which she was a member, will serve as active and honory pallbearers. The ladies of the Woman's Missionary union will serve as flower bearers.
