A contributor has suggested the parents of Henry Isaac were John Willey and Mary Shaw, and that Henry is the male child age 10-14, referenced in the 1840 census: 1840 McDonough, WILEY(WILLEY) John and Mary with seven ch: one male 10/14, 6 females 3/0-5, 2/5-9, 1/10-14.

Many family trees indicate Henry was son of Absalom Stoneking Willey and Rachel Lemley. However, Rachel would have been 51 when Henry was born, and Henry Isaac is not named in Absalom's 1856 will.

" Bequeathed to my wife "the farm and improvements thereon on which I now live, known as being the East half of the North East quarter of Section 35 in Township Four North of the Base line, in Range Three West of the Fourth Principal Meridian"; upon her death, the property was to pass to "my son Charles W. to have and to hld the same to him and his heirs and assigns forever"; also bequeathed "a certain other tract of land, viz: the West Half of the North East quarter of the above mentioned Section to my sons Charles W. and Samuel, in equal parts, that is, Charles W. is to have the East half, and Samuel the West half"; bequeathed "to my son Samuel a certain other tract of land known as the East half of the South East quarter of Section Twenty six in Township Four North, in Range Three West of the Fourth Principal Meridian"; also to my son George I also bequeath a certain other tract of land situated in the County of McDonough and State aforesaid, being the West Half of the South West quarter of Section No. Twenty Five in Township Four North of Range No. Three West of the Fourth Principal Meridian and to my sons John Willey & William Willey each, the sum of five dollars in money; "five dollars to each of my daughters Sally Griffin, Elizabeth Griffin and Catherine Shaw". The will was proved in open court 16 June 1856.
