Frank P. Hobgood, 77, died at his home on Richardson Road after an illness of several months. A lawyer, he initially practiced in Greensboro but moved to Reidsville in 1938 where he became a community leader. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church, founder and first president of the Reidsville Executives Club, a former grand master of North Carolina Masons and a trustee of Wake Forest College.
