He attended Tri-State Deaf Church. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR Racing, rebuilding race car engines, and in his earlier years, participated in Quick Draw Competitions. He also deeply loved his dog, Ruby.
Aaron was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley on June 24, 2006.
Aaron is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Payne and husband, Scott of Elberfeld, and Debbie Davis, and husband, Chris of Evansville; grandchildren, Nathan, Nicholas, Courtney, Morgan, Christopher, Anna, Leah, and Olivia; great granddaughter, Emma Jean Payne; brother-in-law, Roger Buchanan and wife, Phyllis of Evansville; sister-in-law, Donna Merrill and husband, Paul of Evansville; brothers, Bill and Joe Russell of Henderson; nieces; nephews; and many, many close friends.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Reverend Mark Rice, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may visit Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Alexander East Chapel.
