ST. GEORGE - Jason Zonnie Horne, 13, died Wednesday at his residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Calvary Baptist Church in Dorchester. Burial, directed by Bryant Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Jason was born in Groton, Conn., a son of Otey M. Horne and Debbie Sweatman Horne. He was a seventh-grade student at St. George Middle School and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his parents of St. George; two brothers, Joshua O. Horne and Jeremy M. Horne, both of St. George; a sister, Ashley M. Horne of St. George; his grandparents, Jimmy Horne and Sylvia W. Horne of St. George, Mario Sanchez and Jeannette Sanchez of Orangeburg, and Robert Sweatman and Shirley Sweatman of Holly Hill; and his great-grandmother, Gertrude S. Horne of St. George.
