Nachusa - Albert Johnson-son of Dick and Elsie Sloter Johnson, was born Aug. 19, 1895, at Prophetstown, Whiteside Co., Ill He went to the army Sept. 20, 1917, at Camp Grant, and stayed there one month. From there he went to Camp Logan, Houston, Tex., and from there to France, the latter part of May, 1918. He was in he 108th Trench Mortar Battery, 33rd division. He was wounded in action and died from the effects of same on September 25, and was buried in Souilly, Meuse, France.

{N.B. According to two cousins, he was disinterred and then reburied in Oakwood. This is not a cenotaph.]
