Funeral services for Mrs. Sasannah Lisonbee, who died Friday in Salt Lake City, were held Monday in the Monroe North ward meeting house. Bishop Heber Swindle presided, and the speakers were Jacob Newby, Constant Thueson, President Robert D. Young and Bishop Swindle. All testified to the sterling character of Mrs. Lisonbee and offered words of consolation to the bereaved family.

Mrs. Lisonbee was the wife of Hugh E. Lisonbee. She was greatly loved in her home town for her generous nature, motherly instincts, and Christian spirit. She leaves besides her husband five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Manson, Mrs. Chloe Hodges, and Miss Sipha Lisonbee of Monroe, Mrs. Susannah Judd, of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Laura Tuft of Uinta county.

Mrs. Lisonbee had been in poor health for some time past and for three months had been in Salt Lake for medical treatment, but the exact cause of her death could not be determined. Mrs. Lisonbee came to Utah from England with her parents at an early age and has lived at Monroe since that time. She was 53 years of age.
