He was retired from Hendrickson Automotive after 21 years. He was a member of Covert Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Bertha (Dye) Guinn; five daughters, Evelyn Atkinson and Sharon Guinn, both of Hammond, Edith Guinn, Chandler, Wilma Sparks of Minnesota and Betty Guinn of Saudi Arabia; a son, Carroll, Chandler; two sisters, Pauline Cook, Covington, and Ruth Bowman, Wallace; one brother, Charley Guinn, Kingman; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Bradley Colonial Chapel in Boonville with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery." – Star Tribune, September 18, 1987
