Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Delaughter, 60 ,of Gilbert, LA will be held at Holly Grove Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mike Devillier and Rev. Dewayne Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro.
Mr. Delaughter was born July 9, 1947 in Brookhaven, MS and passed away Monday August 6, 2007 at his home in Gilbert. He was a resident of Gilbert and a heavy equipment operator.
He was preceded in Death by: Father-Brace Delaughter; Mother-Cora Lee (Adams) Delaughter
Survivors include: Wife-Cynthia Tidwell Delaughter of Gilbert, La.; 3 sons-Doug Denmon of Wisner, La., Lloyd "Bull" Delaughter of Wisner, La., and Randall Gene Delaughter of Gilbert, La. 2 Brothers-Danny "Big Dan" Delaughter and Barney Delaughter both of Wisner, La.; 2 Sisters-Annie Pearl Sproles of Baton Rouge, La. and Betty Jean Delaughter of New York, N.Y.
He was also survived by 8 gandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The Pallbearers will be Danny Rea Martin, Robert Rausin, Johnny Polk, Ed McKee, John Haring, Kenneth Ray Parker, Corey Parker, Adam Wyrick, and Cecil Parker.
The family will receive friends at Holly Grove Baptist Church from 5:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2007 until service time.
