Services for Albert Loyd Perkins, 75, were held at Kehl's Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Mr. Perkins died Monday, Feb. 29, at his Anchorage home.
Born Aug. 14, 1912, in House, N.M., he moved to Alaska five years ago to live closer to his daughter. He was a retired treasurer of a credit union in El Paso, Texas.
He leaves his wife, Viola, of Anchorage; his daughter, Wanda Barnes, of Anchorage; his sister, Opal Lewis, of Truth or Consequences, N.M.; his brother, Wayne, of Clovis, N.M.; and two grandchildren. Burial was in Angelus Memorial Park. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 406 W. Fireweed Lane, Suite 203, Anchorage 99503.
