He was born June 10, 1917, in Wisner, Neb., to John and Marie Wieland Heinemann.
Mr. Heinemann was a 1st Lieutenant with the 15th U.S. Army Air Corps based in Italy and flew several combat missions during World War II. He was the owner/operator of Heinemann Insurance Agency in Garden City from 1947 until he sold the agency and it became known as Rutter-Cline Agency. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Knights of Columbus and Southwind Country Club, all at Garden City.
Burial was in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
