Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m Friday, Dec. 19, 2003, at McKendree United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Powell officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemertery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. McCaslin was born in Catawba County and was the daughter of the late Lattie Earl and Carrie Speagle Weaver.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Louis McCaslin.
Mrs. McCaslin was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Agnes Cline of Lincolnton, Evelyn Cochrane of Lincolnton and JoAnne Potts of Lincolnton; one sister, Marvelle Jones of Litchfield, Ohio; four grandchildren, Mitch Cline, Casey Potts, Kristi Potts and Brandee Potts; and two great-grandchildren, Jessie Cline and Maggie Cline.
