On September 24, 1907 Mrs. C. R. Dickinson, Pipkin's daughter, was accepted in the United Daughters of the Confederacy,(formerly known as) Lakeland Chapter No. 791.
She and Charles lived next door to her brother, Daniel Moses in the 1910 Census. They had two sons, Hugh C. and Frank L.

TAMPA – Mrs. Donna Pipkin Dickinson, 88, an ex-resident of Lakeland died in a Tampa hospital last night. Mrs. Dickinson was a charter member of the UDC of Lakeland and a member of the College Heights Methodist Church. She was a
life-time resident of Polk County.
Survivors include two sons, H. C. Dickinson, Tampa and Frank L. Dickinson, Lakeland; one granddaughter, Mrs. W. R. Johnson, Vero Beach and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at Fitzgerald Cemetery in Mulberry. Blount Funeral Home in Tampa is in charge of arrangements.
