Mrs. Anna Bell Called to Rest
Between the hours of eleven and twelve o'clock Wednesday night June 16, Sister Anna Bell, wife of William C. Bell passed suddenly to her death.
She was a daughter of Thomas and Sarah Smith who were among the first pioneers of this valley. She, herself, had been a pioneer, having lived here almost since the valley was settled. Thirty-four years ago on the third of March she married William Bell. They lived for eight years in Heber, then twenty-six years ago they moved to Danial where they have since resided.
Sister Bell leaves to mourn her loss besides her husband, ten children, the eleventh one having preceeded her in death. Her children are Mrs. Sarah L. Carlen, William Bell (deceased), Mrs. Lilly Maud Orgill, Thomas W. Bell, Mrs. Jane Thacker, Mrs. Mary Geneve McDonald, Alma Chase Bell, Joice Bell, Bessie Bell, Grant Bell and Wayne Bell. Four sisters and three brothers; John A. Smith, Mrs. John H. Clegg, Mrs. Amanda Horner, Mrs. John VanWagner, Mrs. William Baird, T.D. Smith and J.R. Smith.
