The funeral of Arthur M. Chase, who passed away at hls home in Novesta township on September 27, was held in the Novesta Baptist church on Wednesday, September 29. Interment was made in the Novesta cemetery.
Arthur M. Chase was born April 12, 1872 at Richmond, Michigan,and when 10 years of age, moved with his parents, Charles A. and Ellen Chase, to Marlette. On September 24, 1902, he married Nina Sweet of Cass City.
He leaves his widow, one son, Melvin, at home; one daughter, Eveline, of Flint; a granddaughter; a brother, Clarence, and four sisters, Belle, Delia and Florence, of Marlette, and Mrs. Irene Nothercott of Detroit.
