John M Thompson dies Thursday; Funeral Sunday
DOLAND - John M. Thompson, 68, retired farmer, died Thursday at the Veterans Hospital, Lincoln, Neb., following a short illness.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church with the Rev. Emery Anderson officiating.
He was born August 25, 1891 at Hopkins, Minn. He married Ruby E Brown April 3, 1920 and he was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his widow, ; one son, Gordon D. Thompson, Doland; two daughters, Elaine, Mrs. David Barkema, Willow Lake; Karen, Mrs. Jack Nelson, Miller.
The Haugland Funeral Home of Clark is in charge of arrangements.
