The daughter of the late James and Jessie Chrisey Nutt, she was born February 22, 1915 in East Branch, NY. She was the widow of Floyd Helms, who died in 1975.
Mrs. Helms was a former member of Livingston Manor Senior Citizens; member and past President of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #6081, Ladies Auxiliary; member of Clarence Hoyt Post #9217, Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends may call today, Sunday, September 14, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY (845-482-4280), with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m., this afternoon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Beaverkill Cemetery, Beaverkill, NY.
