Homer was born in 1806 in New York.
His parents were born in Connecticut.
He died November 13, 1884 Wellington, Lorain County, Ohio.
He appears in 1840 Census in Rochester, Lorain County, Ohio
and appears in all subsequent Censuses until 1880 Census where he appears both in Rochester and with his son William Arza Peet family in Caledonia, Kent Co. Michigan.
They return to Lorain County by his death in 1884
