George Thomas Beers, 79, died at home on September 22, 1927 of a stroke of apoplexy. He is survived by six children: Mrs. Carl Myers, Clair, Thaddeus, Mrs. Herbert Beeghley, Mrs. C. C. Ling, and Miss Agnes; two sisters: Mrs. George Dougherty and Mrs. Elmer Thompson; four brothers: John, Charles, Lafayette, and Porter. Services and burial will be at Beaver Valley, near Flinton, Pa.
