Claud Lounsberry Buried At Doland
Doland, Aug. 31 - Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Methodist Church in Doland for Claud Julian Lounsberry, 66, who died Saturday in the Baldwin Hospital in Redfield after a long illness. The Rev. Thomas Griffith of Doland and the Rev. Myrtle Gage of Rochester, Minn., read the rites and burial was made at Doland.
Mr. Lounsberry was a barber by occupation and lived in Doland 25 years previous to moving to Redfield, where he lived for the past four years. He was born in Murray County, Minn., and married Ella Quinn at Redfield on May 14, 1907.
Survivors include his widow and one son, Edward Lounsberry, and a grandson, Lowell, of Rapid City; one sister, Miss Alice Lounsberry of Rochester, Minn. During his lifetime he lived in Lebanon, Doland, Deadwood, California and Redfield.
Pallbearers were Arthur Paine, Norman Lockwood, Earl Paul, Harold Kline, Harold Gelston and Arthur Wells.
