JOHNSON, Mrs. Cynthia Lee Walker, peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, after a lengthy illness. Cynthia was born in Brunswick County, Virginia on November 25, 1943. She was educated in the Brunswick County Public School System. Cynthia was employed by the Richmond Public School System for many years until her retirement. She was a dedicated employee who was very passionate about her career. On August 26, 1967, Cynthia was united in holy matrimony to the late Spencer William Johnson III. To this union, one son, Spencer William Johnson IV was born and later a granddaughter, Sahara Whitney Johnson. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St., where the family will receive friends Sunday (today), 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held Monday, September 29, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1501 Decatur St. Dr. Dwight C. Jones, pastor, officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
