VIOLA ETHEL CUMMINS
FAIRHOPE - Viola Ethel Cummins, a native of Zephyrhills, Fla., and a resident of Fairhope, died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, in Union City, Calif. The 96-year-old was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairhope since 1942. Survivors include three sons, Charles B. Cummins Jr. of Fairhope, James D. Cummins of Union City, Calif., and Jerry A. Cummins of Ono Island; a daughter, Anne M. Lanham of Lenoir, N.C.; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Bayview Funeral Home in Fairhope. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Bayview Funeral Home, with Dr. Stan Weatherford officiating.
Burial will follow in Colony Cemetery. Bayview Funeral Home of Fairhope is handling arrangements.
